“Women on Women: the More Women the More Witchcraft” Bilik / Luxenberg / Nicholls /Betty Q / Seltmann – night of spells

Wherever and whenever women gather together, it arouses suspicion, titillation and trouble. What exactly are those women up to…? Tonight, you are cordially invited to the coven. We will cook, conjure spells and scheme together. Women on Women returns for a second year, hosted by Jaqueline Nicholls. The event brings together four women to cook stew and make brew, while casting spells on and with their audiences. Irreverent and sharp, these spells take on questions of Jewishness, gender, religion and sexuality in new and unexpected ways. Participating artists include Betty Q, Gabi Von Seltmann, Maja Luxenberg and Justyna Bilik (Di Libe Brent Wi a Nase Szmate).
